Old interiors smell. They’re uncomfortable. Sometimes you’ve got to gut it and start all over. The flip side is you can have a ton of fun picking material: leathers, vinyls, fabrics and make everything fit just so. It’s all custom when you build from scratch. Or you can do small repairs in some cases if you pick the right craftsman.
